LEGNOLANDIA historical company of Italy
The roots of Legnolandia originated back in 1830, in Upper Friuli, in Carnia, in the Natural Park of the Friulian Dolomites.
The historic company has grown and renewed from every generational change and in the 80s, in addition to the production of wooden buildings and garden furniture, it began the production of playground games, urban furniture structures that are now distributed in Italy, Europe, Arabia and Africa.
All products are original and innovative and are the result of centuries of experience combined with the use of new technologies, always used with a view to respecting the environment. The headquarters of Legnolandia is located in Forni di Sopra in the province of Udine.
Our Circular Economy
Centennial experience, living in the middle of the Friulian Dolomites, an environment recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and the new technologies adopted, have developed original and innovative products, all strictly linked to respect for the environment. The company's ecological vocation is expressed through the objective of reducing the notorious harmful CO2 emissions during the entire life of the products.
The production activities are organized in such a way as to leave the "Foot-Print" ecological footprint as light as possible to respect the future of customers and the environment. Each project considers the assessment of the life cycle of "Life Cycle Assessment" products by addressing the important problem of "De-Building".
Every year Legnolandia avoids the emission of over 600 tons. of CO2 thanks to the solutions adopted in the production processes.
The use of the most renewable material that exists: wood obtained at "Km. zero "from Carnian woods certified PEFC and recycled and recyclable complementary materials, combined with work cycles that use only energy from renewable sources (hydroelectric, photovoltaic and biomass), make Legnolandia products concretely" environmentally friendly ". For this reason, on 28 September 2013 it was awarded the prestigious Green Flag by Legambiente. All Legnoladia products comply with the new GPP-CAM (Minimum Environmental Criteria) directives for green purchases by the Public Administration.
The constant introduction of new woodworking technologies has made it possible, year after year, to reach the top positions on the national and international market in terms of quality and durability of the products divided into 4 categories:
FEPI (Federation of the European Play Industry) Federation which aims to raise awareness of the importance of outdoor play for the well-being of children and to provide members and public institutions information on European regulations, in synergy with international organizations.
FEDERLEGNO : National Federation representing the interests of the industrial chain that goes from woodworking to the production of furniture and accessories.
WEISTANNE FORUM : Legnolandia is the only Italian partner of the Weistanne International Forum created for the enhancement of White Fir.
TÜV SÜD : It is the European certification body that monitors and certifies the production processes of Legnolandia according to the ISO-9001 Total Quality and ISO-14001 Environmental Quality systems.

Legnolandia products are distributed throughout Italy, in the European area and in emerging markets such as North Africa and the Middle East.
