The pivot joint is of cardan type with self-lubricating bearings, steel plate and safety connection. The plate is attached by through-bolting Ø 16 mm. Narrow-mesh chains are hot-dip galvanized and securely connected to the tire. All edges are rounded. The tire is analyzed by TÜV SÜD to ensure its non-toxicity (PAH polyaromatic hydrocarbon content tests).
All wooden parts are made of White Spruce from controlled forests, autoclave treated according to EN 351 standards with EXTRA-COAT water-repellent additive and U.V. protectant.
