A sandbox provided with a resistant movable lid to protect the sand from bad weather conditions and animals. The lid transforms into two platforms sliding on wheeled, aluminium rails, which can be used for playgrounds, role-play and outdoor activities. The wall of the sandbox is made of 60 mm thick wood. The lids are made of plywood for outdoor use with a non-slip resin-coated surface. They are equipped with safety and locking devices to prevent accidental hand injuries and to hold the lids open or closed.

Materials

All wooden parts are made of PEFC@ certified coniferous wood, treated in autoclave according to EN-351 standards with water-repellent additive and anti-UV filter. Compliant with current EN-1176 standards.

This article contributes to the reduction of CO₂ emissions thanks to the use of wood obtained at zero km from PEFC® - FCS® certified forests and to the use, during all processes, of energy obtained exclusively from renewable sources.
