The work was commissioned by the Marco Simoncelli Onlus 58 Foundation and it is a concrete help to families with disabled who are hosted in disabled guest houses.
Sister Letizia of the Coop Montetauro was the Testimonial of the event. She worked hard with tenacity and will to ensure that this project could be completed properly. Paolo Simoncelli, thanked all those who contributed with donations and in particular the stakeholders of the Conca Group.
A large crowd attended the ribbon cutting which was performed directly by the guests of the Sic house. The Mayor of Coriano Mr. Gianluca Ugolini and many friends of Marco and Paolo including the "Anonymous Bikers" friends of Marco Simoncelli, the Motorcycle World Champion who died in 2011 were there as well.
The designers of this project paid high attention to accessibility by integrating the access paths with different inclusive tools that allow play and interaction among users of different ages and abilities. The Legnolandia equipment installed in the park is mainly made of wood, a completely renewable raw material according to the CAM - GPP Minimum Environmental Criteria.
