The sensory path includes multiple activities which have been designed to involve the users in a playful-didactic way by promoting the motor activity safely.
Watch the video:
The equipment included in the Nature sensory paths by Legnolandia has been designed to lead the users to a funny, attentive and aware walk in search of forgotten feelings. The contact with the nature is constant thanks to the material used to build the track: the wood that is the most renewable and natural raw material in the world.
Nature and Inclusivity:
According to the Play For All Project by Legnolandia, these sensory tracks are inclusive i as they allow the use to all users, regardless of their abilities. Particular attention has been given to walkability and to the introduction of equipment which facilitate the playful and didactic use of the senses both for adults and kids.
Sustainable, recycled and recyclable:
The equipment is oversized to withstand the outdoor environment for a long time thanks to the special autoclave treatment of the wooden parts: in-depth injection under pressure of non-toxic natural mineral salts (EN-351 standards). Some materials used are re-usable and recyclable at the end of their life cycle, others are biodegradable (moss, bark, straw, trunks etc.). The production of these sensory tracks is performed by using exclusively energy which comes from renewable sources (sun, water, biomass) and Zero Km raw materials in compliance with the Green Public Procurement (GPP). The installation of these sensory paths does not require the use of concrete.
